#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement built on the idea that we have two days of getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This day is the perfect opportunity to give back to the students of the San Marino Unified School District. Don't know what #GivingTuesday is? It is a global giving movement that has been built on the idea that we have two days of getting deals - Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On Giving Tuesday, we have a day dedicated to giving back. We at the San Marino Schools Foundation use this day as the opening to the holiday giving season. Everyone has something to give, and donations, either big or small, to the San Marino Schools Foundation goes directly to the benefit of students at all four school sites. This includes funding for full time teaching positions and various different types of enrichment programs like STEM courses and Wellness Initiatives.

What makes #GivingTuesday even more special? Facebook is partnering with PayPal to match up to $7 million in donations made through Facebook fundraisers. Matching will begin at 5am on November 27, 2018 (Giving Tuesday), and will match until the $7 million runs out. To donate, please visit the SMSF Fundraiser page on November 27 and donate!
